    Being from California, I am kinda spoiled about rust free Tacomas...

    What I am most curious about is what others in other states consider to be rust free or in excellent condition.. So post your frame picture and be sure to state year as well.

    That's crazy man! That looks great! Must be nice to never deal with road salt :p

    great post - I just bought a frame replaced taco BUT, I was THIS CLOSE to flying to Arizona for a southwest taco (gen1 of course)

    My rust full 01 - frame being replaced. I couldn't get them to buy it. I wanted a new one. They are putting 12k into a truck that they could have bought from me for 11,300. Doesn't make any sense to me but Toyota Corp in CA would not budge on buying it because they can make frames for 2001 forward. If you have 2000 or younger they buy it back because they can't make those frames anymore.
