Yep, pretty much any major town/city will have plate lunch spots these days. Will likely see locals pretty much wherever you go here. I’ve lived Corvallis, Eugene, pdx, bend and there’s a island presence in all.

Fixed link, potato’s, and the sea. Pretty much sums up the Island right there.

Id like to plan a trip up there this summer or next. Kinda make a big loop out of it including N.S., N.B., and PEI. Probably take the CAT over from Bar Harbor, and then work counterclockwise up and around. Dropping back into Maine either through The County, or pushing further out into Quebec and coming back through NH or VT. Any pointers / recommendations for your neck of the woods?

Cape Breton is a place you wanna go in Nova Scotia for sure, along the Cabot trail is really nice, lots of little places you can stop and camp and a few good beaches. Anywhere along the south coast is pretty nice is NS as well, Lunenburg is a cool little place, lots of ship and sailing history there. Peggy’s Cove is a nice spot too! For New Brunswick I recommend Fundy park, a ton of hiking trails that lead into a few nice waterfalls, really neat seeing the tide run too. Largest tide in the world I believe. Also running the river rapids on the Tidal bore is a blast, I think we did it in Maitland NB, I think it’s called Shudenacadie River Runners, I can’t wait to go it again ! As for PEI, I live in the Eastern end, I would say there’s more to do in the central and eastern ends of the island but I haven’t spent a whole of time
Up West so I’m just not as farmiliar with what’s up there. There are a ton of restaurants in Charlottetown and usually always some sort of festival or music going on in the summer. The North shore beaches are really nice, best beach to go to by far is Basin Head, which is way up east but well worth the drive ! I think it’s said to be one of the nicest in Canada. PEI is really just nice to go out for a drive on the back roads and see the scenery, it’s pretty quiet here, there’s lots of beaches everywhere. Deep sea fishing is also a good time if you’ve never been out, lots of places that do charters. I hope this helps all I can think of right off! If there’s any places or landmarks you had in mind let me know, I may have been there or have some insight on them !

And this is where the Leafs change colours. Mostly yellow this time of year heading into the Boston series, and shades of black and blue by the time the are eliminated in a couple of weeks lol
