    How’s the traffic been?

We always hit Yellowstone a few times before and after tourist season.

Make sure to save some time for Lamar Valley. Lots of good wildlife spotting most days out that way.

I had planned on coming through here in May, and now I kinda wish I had. Traffic has been nuts in a couple of places, which I mostly avoided.
    Gonna check out Lamar tomorrow.
    Good times!

Kinda what I figured. Last year was a record summer and this year is supposed to be worse!

Love it out that way though!

Which way are you leaving out? Some great places out by Cody, WY. One of which is Heart Mountain. It’s a Japanese internment camp. It’s pretty interesting to visit, see some of our not so great history.

Funny you should say Japanese Internment Camp, I work about five miles from Manzanar, another camp.
I'm gonna go see what Montana is all about.

Very nice. We are planning on visiting the Lamar Valley area at the end of August. I have only visited Yellowstone in October a couple of times. The last time traffic was crazy even that late in the season.

Yep, traffic can be an issue. I blew off Grand Prismatic Spring due to traffic.
    Lamar is very cool!

Custer's last stand and Pompey’s pillar are both close to the Billings area. So much here it’s hard to narrow down what to do.

If you don’t have one yet, it’s with renting or getting a spotting scope of you’re there for the wildlife.
