Thanks and no. I have a cover I use when the tent and rack aren't on there though.

Craters is really cool! You will enjoy it.
If you plan to camp there on a weekend, reserve a spot early.

Not sure how it is right now, because we avoid tourist season, but that is usually a great place to listen to the elk calls in the fall.

Yeah, this was my first trip. Had planned on visiting in May and now kinda wished I had. I still had a super-cool visit! There are some beautiful animals in the park.

Yeah glad you got to see them! The big horn are super cool if you manage to spot them.

If you end up near Jackson Hole, WY, that’s one of the best places to catch moose.

If I remember you said you were hitting the Butte area? Wife said the mine tour was pretty cool. She took her mother when she was visiting.

Also the Berkeley Pit is interesting to stop and view. One of the largest super fund sites, it’s disgustingly fascinating.

Can’t really speak a lot on the Kalispell area since I’m in Billings but I think @MTgirl is from that area.

I have been and gone through Butte. I didn't make time for the mine tour (my mistake) but I did hit a brewery and walked the old downtown area. I love it! Looks like a down-and-out mining town. Lots of charm for me.

I understand that the Berkley Pit and related environs was THE LARGEST Superfund site in the nation when it was identified.

Kalispell was cool and Glacier was fantastic! I love our National Parks!
