October 2015 Big Dog's Fall Crawl Meet, Gore VA

This will now be a thread for the October 17th weekend Fall Crawl at The Cove Campground in Gore, VA. This campground only allows off-roading several times a year and can only be used when Big Dogs Off-road is providing the insurance and safety of guided trail runs. There will be night runs, day runs, bonfires, access to fishing, shooting range (extra cost for this use), on site food vendor, prizes, etc. Refer to big dogs website listed below for details as well as the campground website for their rules and other details.

Pricing is listed as follows and was able to get a "TW" discount. The typical price is $65 per vehicle off-roading to Big Dogs off-road to pay for insurance, vendors, guided trail runs, etc. and another $40 per head per weekend (in this case it's a two day event) to the campground.

I was able to get the price down to $55 per vehicle to big dogs, and $35 per head to the campground for the weekend for a total of $90. That's a $15 savings. Still pricey, but it's the best I could do.

The pics below are from last years 2014 event where we raised $1200 to an animal shelter due to a raffle from generous donations from vendors here on TW.


I had a blast last year even though I only did two runs due to the required dedication of getting the vendors and raffle situation taken care of, so this year we are just joining an already established big dogs event called the Fall Crawl. There will be no raffle or TW benefit, strictly business this time.

I know he is going through personal shit, but it sucks he deleted his account like that. I'm surprised since he had so many relationships with you guys. Didn't know him well but still feel like we were abandoned. Now Brandon has to work twice as hard to make us feel loved.
