I have Relentless skids (all 3 pieces) and a Relentless taigate stiffener on my second Gen. Skids have saved my bacon a few times, damned glad I have them!

Long story short is that where you have the belly skid mount to the frame is where my sliders bolt on to my frame.

That just brought up an interesting question: If you had to choose only one, would it be sliders or the transfer case skid, which would you choose?
Just glad that I have both.

Sliders first I would say. But I have acquired a few good hits to my skids that surely would have ended the day had my Tacoma been naked. The Relentless skids are confident investment for me.

I'd have to agree, sliders protect a lot more area than the Tcase skid would, however if you're actually out wheeling in the rocks solid skids are very important.
I do find it somewhat hard to believe the design of my skid would prevent installation in conjunction with a set of sliders though, and if the sliders really block that much area as to prevent the installation of skids then the sliders were somewhat of a poor design IMO.

I run Avid sliders, weld on style. No interference with skid mounting.

FINALLY got my relentless front bumper and skid in! After some initial confusion about how to install it, we got it mounted up. Bolted right on, fit amazingly well. Looks nasty! 9fbaa0d5285a88242ec2d0b693da1364_0eeb655fbac3a06b8504cb57044b5ca792ed7dcc.jpg231344817f2f626f109ffbf6076234fb_b10ef9e6d18e07f9e0601998ca38137c1f414c0a.jpg1adbc8e85059dbda6d9d76ce80e6d933_f58d4691aca5252f16fac19b6a6581f867deede1.jpg8d0a64ab2b2931cb573beef647d326b8_00d002e29ef6283dea446eee6c6cafb9b60663b2.jpg

Really really really bad idea to snatch from that spot. Buy a d-ring and use the reinforced recovery points. Even a cheap ass shittybuilt d-ring is a better idea than snatching from 3/16" flat plate

We've got some US ones that we sell that are 3/4" like all the cheap ones but better.... 6 1/2 ton rated vs 4 3/4 ton for all the Chinese ones. Should say something right there that a part the exact same size is made in USA and has 50% more load capacity

Yep I found that out! Pulled my buddy right out but it bent the bumper just slightly haha... Gonna use the mounted recover points after that.

Added another sticker in anticipation for February when my sliders will be here. Getting antsy!
