Never really used our Hi-lift on our personal vehicles. But used them to help others. This is our most recent, we use them a lot on this trail lol:

The 4runner broke a front axle on one side, broke hub on the other, and stripped his rear gears so he could move nowhere under his own power:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcE-YCzmojs

We used this strategy for a good chunk of the trail:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhcsLf_py48

Few years back we also got a jeep on three tires, yes, three tires up this. He broke a u-joint which makes the tire fall off lol So we threw his tire into some holes to drive over:

Used the same strategy, but could only move about an inch or so each time. Took all day but we did it lol

Used one again last weekend after Matt lost his bead. It did the trick.

May long weekend 2015, spent 3 days wheeling and sitting by the lake

The day started off with watching some dumbasses getting stuck on some logs. Went and did a couple trails took a good 7hrs to do the two trails. The way back to camp had a creek crossing which at the time was still top of the tire high. Parked the truck for the night and got to work on dinner and beers. Stupid me set the park brake, so the next morning we went to go hit another trail and suddenly I keep stalling and then I notice I'm dragging my drivers side rear tire. Turns out the water flash cooled the brakes and when I set the park brake it seized in place.

A few wacks with the hammer released the drum and I re-adjusted the brakes and got back under way. To hit some trails

When I was putting on my trail gear front bumper the frame was a bit tweeked. We hooked the bumper up to the trailer hitch with the hi-lift acting as a winch to get the holes lined up. (it didnt work)

Yeah we ended up putting a 4x4 between the bumper and a tree, come along around the tree to the trailer hitch and sucked the joker in tight. REALLY tight. That ended up working after about 45 min haha

@Shmellmopwho I have the weirdest story involving a popped bead. I'll tell you the long version around the campfire with some brews some day but it involved using a wratchet strap and starter fluid to seat the tire. Then 9 months later involves a calcium deposit as big as a marble on my thumb, a failed surgery, then self surgery and me screaming like a bitch! Lol.

Sorry no hi lifts were involved. Haha.

I was on the K trail and my alternator blew out. The jumper cables wouldnt reach from my buddies jeep to my truck for me to be able to charge my battery up enough to turn around. we took my high lift on the front bumper, jacked it up, and pushed it over to the side of the trail. We did this about 3 times in the front and back to get the taco over enough where the jeep could pass it

    enough to go over stuff
Lower uniball bolt came lose in Tahoe. Had my father inlaw pull out of his parking space from before the storm so id have a clear place to work. He brought out his jack but it was about 15"s to short. I high lifted with no issues. was about 25 degrees but that just added a little more fun.

Not a Tacoma, but a JD 450B Shovel Dozer with a hoe and Drott 4 in 1 bucket. Injector pump failed and we had to do a field repair...getting the bucket up so we could access the engine was step one. hiliftshoveldozer.jpg

Notice we had two high lifts, one on each side. I was using my 68 Dodge Uteline, short, narrow as a service truck, did not want to get my taco all dirty with mechanics grunge.
