    My 5" ones stick out about perfectly even to the outsides of my factory tires .. maybe just a inch or so inside but close to same as tire width

    Also ... do you have mudguards? I have the Weather Tech mud guards .. every once in a while i hear a rock hit the underside of one of my nerf bars. This was the first 2 things i added to my truck

    Ditto. Make great ding protectors when parked next to regular cars.
    I've got the Steelcraft 5" (AutoAnything) and the Toyota mud guards (TRDParts4U). I don't get rocks popping up but nothing seems to keep the road crud off of them. The mud flaps cut down on the amount, but it couldn't stop it.

    Chrome is a career to clean, even though I like the bling.

    been gone for two months and the truck is dirty but I got a chance to install my LED OPT7 bulbs and the Iron Cross HD steps today. Gonna wash the truck and get some pictures tomorrow. The wife loves the steps so that makes things even better because she said I couldn't lift the truck if I didn't get steps :)
