Everytime I think to put up pics, I'm at work.

This is my brand spanking new 2012 Yamaha R6 I picked up just before Thanksgiving. I already had the mods bought months before and waiting. Took me 2 days to install it all. There will probablly be more mods eventually but I've done pretty much everything already. My two previous bikes were both blue R1's. I decided I didn't want to shell out and extra 3 grand for a liter bike this time around and I'm curious how far 600's have come in the last 15 years from the FZR600 I had in '98.....

My first motor driven anything was a 1979 Honda XL250 back in the mid 80's when I was in HS. I rode that bike all over hell and back. Learned a lot with that bike.

I know it says of "your" but heres my dads Street Glide and matching sandrail. Both works of art. The Harley has 13 skulls throughout the realistic flames. The sandrail has 32 skulls in the realistic flames, and there is a wrench on the side panel.
    Also have a CR250

    Now for the matching sandrail

Oh come on man, I'm 3 years older than you. I admit, I will probablly limit my rides to 200 miles a day or less.

I toyed with the idea of an FZ8 or big ass dual sport but I just like cornering too much. If you think they are uncomfy, try doing a 50 mile road bike (bicycle ride). I did one last year. A long road bike ride like that, will make any sportbike feel like a Lazy Boy chair.

Same thing with guns. I shoot 10 rounds through my .500 mag, which makes my .44 mag then feel like my .40 S&W. Then the .40 makes my .22 pistols feel like recoiless match grade air pistols.

200 miles on a sport bike is a long way. But 200 miles on a big dual sport is lunch.

And w ho says you can't corner on a dual sport?

The flame jobs are nice. Combination of the "new" style flames with a layer of the "old" style. Very nice.
