my old bike 2007 CBR600RR, great bike, could really throw that thing around it was so light. sold it for the 1300cc fury, bigger engine, but much slower... 100x more comfortable than the rice rocket + a lot more compliments with the fury

In my ideal world, I would have a 1000rr and the fury... but I made the choice to go to a cruiser/chopper style bike for the sheer comfort. On my old 600rr I could only ride that thing for 1-1.5hrs and I HAD to get off of it, not so with the fury, I could ride that thing all day with very little fatigue. I miss the sport bike sometimes.

I rode 3 hours last week... wrists were fully numb, backside was super sore as well. The Ducati 999 is my cruiser. Much better on longer rides, ergos are more comfy. Seriously considered the Fury though, but pretty sure my next bike will be a motard or adventure.

im in this same boat at the moment. I love my 04 600rr. Put almost 50,000 miles on her. I want to get either the Fury or 07-09 Harley Night Train. How hard was it to let the rocket life go? 600 mile rides on the Fury comfortable?

Bilstein 5100's on all four with some OME 885x's. Brute Force Fab front bumper. Warn winch. Koenig countersteers wrapped with duratracs.
I will chime in on that...had a 07 gixxer 600 that i rode for 3 years...LOVED riding it and loved being able to throw it into corners, however you really couldn't ride it for long like stated before.

Ended up buying a 2012 HD Street Bob and as far as a enjoyment factor...HD is the way to go. Id consider buying another sport bike just to take to the track but if i get another one...id kill myself on the streets. I have ridden the bike for hours on hours with little fatigue. It is very comfortable

Oh...and you cant beat the sound of a HD!

The blackout engine/paint in satin looks really good on that one. I dunno if I could make the cruiser switch. I think adventure bike would probably win out for usefulness in NorCal the way the roads are. I gotta start getting rid of toys before I get new ones.

I love the Hypermotard. It's a fun bike. Around town it's awesome. It's my everyday bike. My first ride on it for the test ride,i felt like a kid at a candy store...i had a huge grin on my face. An hour later i was riding it home.
