Looks cool, I personally enjoy building too much to buy a pre built bike though:eek:

I'd give it a good lookin' over. I can see from the pics that it's going to need fork seals at the least.

If I had a garage and the right tools. I'd love to build my own. But living in a condo with a parking garage makes it kinda difficult

Before I was with my girl. I use to wrench on my super moto in the living room. Oil changes in the dining room ha

Fork seals are easy I can handle that

I think if he'll take 2700-3000 its a fare deal

I agree, that would be a good deal.

I built half my bike in my living room haha

How do you strap it down? Looks like on the rail system? I was afraid it would buckle under the weight of the bike..

I strapped mine down to the rails. Didn't have D-Rings in the front...still need to invest in those. Would have been a lot easier that way. I was kinda worried about the rails myself. But, she made it back from the hour long drive.

My first bike was a naked GS500e like this:

I bought it in 2005, rode it a year and a half or so, and the motor went kaput on me and I didn't have any money to get it fixed. So, I was without two wheeled transportation until I got the itch real bad again about 6 months ago. When I bought the GS500, my dream bike was an Asphalt colored Honda 599, so that's what I started looking for the second time around. There are not too many of them around, but after about 3 months of looking one popped up 20 minutes away from me! Checked it out, talked him down just a bit and it's now in my garage!

I will own this bike for a looong time.

D rings. I have used the rails before but I felt they would've broke. I feel safer with the d rings.

I have no D-Rings in the front of my truck. But I borrow a chalk off a friend of mine when I need to put a bike in the bed of my truck. This is the best pic I have of it. I have a trailer, so it's rare that I would need it. But here it is:

I one of these, it works great. Sorry I don't have pics of it in the Tacoma. I tie the bike to the stand and to the bed rails and it never moves.

Nice look. With the passenger seat gone, it might look good without the passenger pegs too. Love the pipes!

    thanks man!

i thought about taking the pegs off...but i tend to pick up a girl every now and then who wants to ride. since the pegs fold up im just gonna leave em for when i throw the seat back on.

thanks...the pipes are pretty sweet...i was trying to get the short shots on it...but when i bought the bike the short shots werent made for the '12 street bob. saw the big radius and said HELLLLLL yea ha loud as frick. glad i went with the full exhaust too
