    I used to have a Honda trail 90, I'm not laughing. That direct drive is kinda weird. Is it a 2 stroke? I've always said the average Asian motorcycle hauls more cargo than the average American pickup.

    2 stroke its a Yamaha QT 50. The Trail 90 would be a nice bike to have. My first ever was a CT70. Great bike I wish I still had.

    How did the old Ironhead hold up on that run? Anything special done to the motor or just HD parts in it? I have an '82 XLS in the garage I am hoping to start rebuilding pretty soon.

    held up pretty good, ironheads are pretty notorious for being a bit wrenching intensive. motor is stock although its .030 over at this point. Only issues I had was my cheap aftermarket coil separated, and my points went out of adjustment. I also had a fork tube spring a leak but that was a bad welding job on my part.
