Yep, 990 Adventure. Great stretch of trail; I think the wife had less fun on the back though haha

225 mile trip yesterday around Lake Okeechobee. Didn't get a pic, so here's one from before. Will hit 10k next time I go out riding. IMG_3835.jpg

nice interceptor, very clean. I would not mind one but I am currently looking and have been passively looking for my two dream bikes for the last year. Hopefully I will be able to find one of the two (rc30 or a r7) for a reasonable price, key word reasonable.

Thanks. It runs pretty good. It needs minor cosmetics, but I couldn't pass it up for $2500 with under 9k miles on it. You'll find the right deal, just have to keep searching. It took me 1 1/2 years to find my Tundra.

Ya, I thought it looked like a KTM, the 990 is one awesome bike for sure but I tend to drool over the old Airhead GS's. How about a side shot of your bike so we all can see the farkles I'm sure you have on the bike and I'd especially like to get a look at your hard cases. Don't you just love it when the wife is hitting you on your back and screaming stop, stop!

Here's the bike set up for 10 days of climbing and camping two up in the Sierra. The bags are the hepco beckers from the factory, plastic double walled to carry about a gallon of water each in addition to normal luggage. We put that to use quite a bit living in CA.

I can't give the wife too much grief, she does ride single track on the back with me...

Nice, they, the cases, look like they can hold a 12 pack each! I like! I also love having a tank bag with a clear map/instruction pocket on top. It also looks like you use a RAM mount for your GPS near your right controls similar to set up I have on my bike. About the only time I use GPS now is on long trips when I get lost as hell and I turn it on to figure out where I am.

The wife use to ride with me everywhere but she hung up her helmet about five years ago when I low sided and had to bail off the bike, luckily she wasn't with me at that time. Only time after to many years to count I spilled and broke a bone, my collar bone. What a joy it was trying to rebuild a bike using only one hand!

    OMG....you have no idea!
The hardest part is deciding what one to take. It all depends on where I'm going.

Bought an old dirt bike Saturday , went about two miles and it started rattling in the cylinder. Made it back to the house but not before it started smoking , trying to lockup. It'll give me something to do"rebuilding" but I'd rather be riding. You guys have some nice bikes!

Ahhh yes....look at it as a learning experience or just enjoy the piston slap as you fog up the neighborhood.

philwil, love the 50020160423_104836.jpg Honda. Something that has worked well for me with the 70's Hondas is to use Vaseline on the 3 small plastic "pins" that slide into the rubber grommets on the side covers. I have seen lots of them broken and I have been lucky to find bikes with them intact. I will attach a pic of my "new" CB175. It just turned over 750 miles today on a ride down to the 7-11 for a slurpee.
