I was so tired during a ride few weeks back that when i tried to do a stand up, i had been standing so long that as soon as i got to that grey zone right before balance point, my knees gave out and i just kind of fell onto the seat. As i did so, i must've twisted the throttle open and nearly looped.

Since then, i've been working on that brake control and have come to the realization that the stock rotors are going in the garbage this spring and some 270mm galfer rotors will be on order

I just picked up a 2012 Road Glide Custom. I've been bike-less for a couple years so it's nice to get back on the road. Even though the season up here is over...

I put my lower fairing on and rode a hundred miles at 45 degrees. They help tremendously in cool weather. I just wore jeans and my legs weren't cold at all.

My roommate has a Sporty Iron with the HD 1200 conversion and one of her friends that lives out of state is keeping his Street Glide in our garage (I have full use of it as long as I keep it clean and maintained). As much as I like riding the Street Glide, for the type of riding we've been doing, I'm probably going to end up picking up a cheap, older Sporty 1200 to tool around on. I'll probably pick up a bagger next year when her friend takes his back up north, just in case we want to do some touring or some longer rides. I'm leaning towards an older, carb'd Road King, but she really likes to listen to the radio when she's sitting on the back. Decisions, decisions. It's important to keep her happy so that the "B" stays in FWB...

Not a super easy bike to wheelie. Very heavy for the power that it has. Plus they feel front heavy to me
