The car tire on the back of a cruiser seems a good idea with regard to treadwear and overall carcass strength. Hopefully it handles OK, not sure how it would feel after the edges get rounded and the center is flexy deeper tread. Pretty cool idea tho.

the only difference is that it wants to stand back up straight faster and easier....

the only problem i see with this is if you crash insurance may not cover you due to having an improper tire and dont be surprised if your turning ability is jacked up

oh and motorcycle tires are designed to disperse water when in a turn unlike car tires

Yep, nothing personal but that rear tire seems like a terrible idea to me. Motorcycle tires are motorcycle specific for a reason.

    completely stock
i know somebody that tried the car tire on his suzuki intruder. he crashed because he tried taking a turn a bit fast. he had taken it faster before and it was not problem but since the car tire walks up on a straight edge the contact patch is smaller

A ton of guys riding goldwings are running car tires. A friend of mine who is a control rider for VIR ran one on his goldwing and didn't have any trouble at all with it. Most guys riding cruisers aren't exactly burning it up in the twisties.

i just got one this week at the Mexican Hat in UT. I wasn't so sure about some off road action with the bike, but it was all good.
