Ah, heated gear for the colder days. Plus it usually means less bikes on the road. But I get you, I hate being cold.

I got stuck in Lovelock, NV with mechanical issues on my S10. Bad timing, it was Thanksgiving week. Waited for a few days for parts to come in, hoping I could make it to Va for Thanksgiving. Turns out, they got left side spindle parts instead of right side. So I was stuck about a week in the middle of nowhere, but had the KTM 250 to explore the mountains nearby. Lots of mines to shimmy into if you can handle confined spaces in them there hills!

Bought this a year ago pretty much new, been putting it back together after getting hit. Found a great deal on the side fairings on facebook market this past weekend and bolted on to relive what it was when new. Replaced the front forks, wheel, rotors, clip ons, grips, fairing stay to name a few. Wasn't sure what direction to go-track bike, naked, chinese faired set up, but alas-OEM for the price of chinese plastics FTW.

Nice, Pro-motion sounds familiar, i think my friend has done some events with you at Poconos raceway. Never been, but most likely try it out this year. I take it you go to the motoamerica events at NJMP? Always a super fun weekend down there. Rode down from CT 2 years ago, drove down this past one and camped on the outside strait away between the track and dirtbike course across the road.

I've been to almost all the major tracks on the east coast with the exception of Road Atlanta and Pocono Raceway. I'll probably go to Pocono this year for 2 different organizations. You're up near New York Safety Track. That's a fun track with good elevation changes. Check it out if you get the chance.

I do enjoy the MA rounds. Being a spectator is fun, while working with a team almost makes it work. I don't get to see much of the racing. However, contributing to the progression of a young gun is pretty cool. I may only attend 2 or 3 rounds this year.

Me, on my ‘04 1150 GSA. I’ve had it for 2 years and put 13k on it. I had a GSPD for 17 years before this bike. 4DF3888E-8B09-4E3D-B885-51C7F9F67EEA.jpg

Not to poke fun or anything...just I have to laugh seeing the bike in your tent. Reminds me of some Harley riders bringing their bikes into their motel rooms cause they were afraid of someone messing with them.

C3E48775-D920-450C-9321-052C79A22116.jpg This is long gone, though it was my first actual street bike. Bought it used and abused. Put new plastic, rebuilt suspension, braided lines, and installed a Corbin seat. I loved most everything about that bike except the vibration (previous owner removed the counter balancers) for more power. I could ride it all day long, though my hands would go numb above 80mph.

Nice to see another FJR owner here. My pics are on post 4989 and 4996. Need to get pics of my other 2 bikes put up here. There is another pretty active motorcycle thread on here in addition to this picture thread. You'll have to check it out.

Great looking bike! This is my first FJR after a couple Futura's, VFR's and a GS1150 and I'm quite happy with it. Was that last pic doing the tag-o-rama on advrider?

Yep. I play that one when I can and also a tag game on FJRForum.com when I have an opportunity.
