Didn't even notice there was a motorcycle section here. This is Gwen, my 2018 Honda Gold Wing Tour DCT.

    A few from my past:

1985 Honda VF500F Interceptor the first bike I ever bought brand new. Sweet little V-4 engine, light weight handled like a dream but within a year I felt I wanted more so this happened.

1987 Cagive Allazura Supersport a 650cc Ducati powerplant in a nice lightweight package. Sadly the biggest POS bike I ever owned. Fun to ride but more time in the shop than any vehicle I've ever owned before or since. It had to go back to the dealer within the first 3 days after buying it. Sadly they never seemed to be able to get all of the bugs worked out. Shortest time I've ever owned any motor vehicle in my life. Traded and took a beating within a year on this.

1985 Yamaha FJ1100 bought in 1987 as a leftover from a dealership in Lancaster, PA. I really wanted the FJ1200 but my insurance company only took bikes up to 1100 cc for an owner of my age group. Oh well, 153 mph top end compared to 156 mph could have made me just as dead. One of the best bikes I've ever owned or likely ever will. Kept it almost 20 years and slowly made upgrades until this.

Same bike but now with a later model FJ1200 front end rebuilt with Progressive Suspension for springs, powder coated lower legs, Progressive rear shock resprung for my weight , Lockhart windscreen and more that I can't even recall. Later sold to buy this.

1996 Buell S2T Thunderbolt. The touring bike from Buell. Low mileage until I got hold of it. My increased use forced the repair of several issues including cylinder base gaskets, carb rebuild, and more. Bike had an unfortunate electrical issue with the turn signals working when they damned well felt like it. Lot of fun to ride and as I was now a few years older the lower footpegs and higher handlebars made it a more comfortable ride than my 1995 Buell S2 which I still own. Eventually sold the 1996 S2T when I stopped riding it after buying this.

2007 Yamaha FJR1300 taken the day I picked it up. This had been traded in toward a 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide in August 2012 and I was fortunate enough to snag it from the Harley dealership that same week. 8660 miles on it at the time with fresh tires. When I got hit on this bike head on in TN on vacation in September 2019 this bike had just turned 127,000 miles. By far the BEST motorcycle I've owned to date but the 2014 FJR1300 that replaced this is doing well so far and I have high hopes for it.

NIce, how do you like it?

I have a motorsports in white coming in a few days. After riding one at a bmw event i was hitting myself for never checking them out earlier over the RR. Low end torque, wide handlebars more upright..going to make long rides and commute much more comfortable.

So far I'm loving the bike. Took it on a 220 mile ride Saturday and was pretty comfortable for the duration of the trip...seat gets a little uncomfortable after 1-1.5hrs but the cruise control is devine.

    Some stuff
Added this late last summer.... wasn't really in the market, but, always up for a deal....

Still stuff to do, still stuff on back-order, etc...
Still have the other 2 bikes.
Haven't sorted out power for this. Was tough jumping on a stock 96, especially in a heavier bike. Nodded some cams, etc to wake it up until I decide what to do.
