All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

How does the Ryker compare to the other model? I had the Can Am Limited for a couple years sold it and now back to GoldWing.

The way I describe it to people is think of a spyder like a touring bagger style bike and the ryker more like a crotch rocket. It is quick low to the ground and after doing some upgrades it is amazing on the corners.

I have the non-rally ABS model, and can’t say enough good about it. Provided you understand the point of it, and what it is not, it’s awesome

@Phoosa also be prepared for some suspension work if you’re a big boy. It’s not a true dirt bike, so if you’re pushing it and asking for a lot of the suspension and you’re not a pretty small guy, you’ll find the limit quickly. I’m 175 and it’s great for me, but I also don’t push it hard. I’ve bottomed it out more than once just doing some desert roads

    I've read that a lot.
Being 210# it is a slight concern, although not sure how adventurous I'll get with it.

A little money spent to spring the front end and replace the rear shock will make it great, I think. Racetech iirc does the front and there’s YSS and ohlins options out back

also plan on some doubletake mirrors, the stockers are kind of a pain. So is fitting handguards.

It's been a great all-around bike for me. Most of my rides have been around town but I definitely agree with @OpeCity that the suspension is really soft and would recommend the Ohlins upgrade. If you can pay the extra coin, you may want to consider the 300 version for a bump in power

    Thanks for the feedback.
I have been eyeing the 300 and will likely go that route in next few months.

I was going to install a 12v petcock valve but it was way too big, no room for that much fuel line from petcock to carb.

Was passing 3 people before a turn, but halfway through noticed it was 4, just really crowded. Ran out of space to pass safely, panicked and high sided it. Catapulted off, then the bike landed on me.
