Woof, sorry. Another reason its nice to have a safe group of somewhat equally skilled riders in each group, that go to the morning meetings to refresh or learn the damn rules. Sounds like you might have been riding below your level or waiting for a bump.

Had a bunch of mostly track oriented mods installed recently for my street trimmed but mainly track bike: Up top a new Rev2 throttle and K&N filter, put on new Galfer SS lines front and rear, new Ohlins ttx rear shock, new DID 520 gold chain and aluminum vortex sprockets, new OIL....and theres a lot of things put on in the last year which are not new but new looking. Can't wait to ride this thing in a few months.

Brought this home today for the grandson.

 

My 2009 Kawasaki Versys. I did love that bike, but owning a small business didnt leave much time for riding, that and where i live every single asshole in a car is looking at their phone. Sold it a couple years ago. Lately ive been getting the itch again. But for something for off road use. Like a Suzuki dr650.....We shall see.

Another day, another bike... Found this unmolested 2018 V-Strom 650 with only 1450 miles on the clock. Wife a I drove 45 miles to look yesterday. I rode it home. Bunch of stuff on order; hanguards, crash bars, top box, spools...

 

Still underrated bikes to this day, in my opinion. A lot of reviews talking about how newer offerings have more of this or that, but if I was going to tour the whole US, solo or with the wife, I’m not sure what bike would steal the podium for first pick over the VStrom 650. Perfect for US highways and plenty to get to US dirt road camp sites.

 

Hands down, most versatile and favorite bike... riding since 1978. I had an 09' and regretting selling a year ago.

Just got my first bike yesterday. 2021 KTM 390 adventure. Hauled it home in the bed of my first gen.

 

‘08 GSXR600
‘12 Yamaha WR450
‘19 KTM 790 Adv R
And an ‘04 R1 that was neglected that I put some work into and I’ll be trying to sell.

 

Congrats on the new ride! Seat Concepta is the way to go if you find you wanna try another seat for it. That’s the first upgrade I put on my bikes, as the OEM seats blow for long days.

 

How is that 790 treating you? Was looking at an 890. I got a few KTMs but this size intrigues me. Bigger than my 500 and 690r, but smaller than my 1190r.
I really want one sometime. Ever had any issues with it?

 

I love it so far! I had a 1090R before it. and a couple V-stroms before that. I picked it up used with just about every mod done to it that I would want. I've heard of some issues with them but personally haven't had any yet. Had a few issues with my 1090 though.
Only issue is I don't have enough time to ride!
