All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Very nice. All the updates have been done to that model. Smart choice for a motard. I have owned 2 690s.

Thanks man! Wanted a supermoto for a while now and thought this would be the most versatile. It's an awesome motocycle, very fun to ride.

I think I've seen your posts before you have a bunch of KTMs right?

Here's a photo of our stable of bikes. We both ride, our own bikes, so the garage is full up. I have two BMWs, one 2021 F850GSA and a 2017 R Nine T Scrambler, the Girlfriend has a KTM 1090 Adventure R, and we just picked up a Yamaha T7 and built it out as her new ride for the next few years. The 1090 will be sold here in the coming months.

Ummm that T7. Looking forward to jumping on one of those. Looks proper. That sticker kit works nicely with those lines.

Who’s the manufacturers for that rear tail rack and skid?

I am contemplating on letting my 1190r go as well for a new big bike purchase. y only issue is my GF does live to ride on the back, and me being 6’3 265… well having a larger bike with displacement is a good thing. She is petite which helps out the situation…lol

On the T7, the Skid is AXP, it's all HDLP Plastic and solid as can be. We ended up trimming off the part that covers the water pump last night as it blocks your foot over the brake pedal. I cannot seem to remember who makes the side racks, it was the same company that did the wrap. The girlfriend placed the order for those so I'm not sure but I'll check later today and find out. They were shipped from Turkey.

For Jess, the 1090 has been great, but just more bike than she really needs. She never uses the full power of the bike, and rides it like a 250 dirtbike. She's done single track trails, but drops the bike all the time because it's so top heavy. It's lowered and still too tall for her short legs being that she's only 5'6". I've been thinking about selling my F850GSA and getting a T7 as well, it's the bike I wanted but the limited supply made it hard to get back when I was looking for a new bike. I love the weather protection on my F850GSA, and the long distance comfort, so we will see what happens this next winter.

I owned a triple black GSA1200. Was a huge bike in the woods, very impressive on how well it did in funky situations. Required a specific type of mindset, was amazed at how the front soaked up some bumps…considering it’s not an explorer fork.
I ride a lot of hard enduro on a 250,300. My grocery getter is a 500smt that is pretty nasty.
The 1290r super duke may be one of my favorites on the bunch. May flat bar it and put a set of big blocks on the black. Drives like an SV650 on steroids.

The 1190r has been my go to, being that the size I am, it’s pretty easy to sling around. I will say that like the GSA1200, went it’s going down, just let it happen.

Had a rallied out 690 which was fun, didn’t rev like any of the others, and was a lazy man’s DS. Fun and would pull stumps out, however it was sold due to having too many bikes that did better in certain situations.

Now the T7, will it live up to my expectations. Oh course it will, it’s a Yamaha, and at this point they don’t make an BS….that I know of anyway.

I look forward to hearing back about your experience with it. Brap

These are so fun to ride, and have the maintenance of a normal motorcycle. Ridden one street and on the track for a bit. Its a riot, street hooligan and track cornering with no effort. My friend upgraded his brake and it stops on a dime when hot.

GF or riding buddy?! haha..i'd say you have enough girls for every day of the week.

She is getting into riding slowly. We live in the middle of the Pisgah forest in the middle of nowhere, so she is starting out in a 50 lol

Agreed and maintenance is a plus. I’m sure it’s a blast on the track hoping to make it there this year. I went a few times with my old 600 and that was probably the most fun I’ve had on two wheels
