That's not knees.... that's the "hard parts" of the Goldwing... engine guard, floorboards, pegs, etc...

My 1600 Vulcan floorboards have a fair amount of grindage, and my gremlin bell was looking pretty bad by the time I lost it. The angel bailed LONG before I lost the bell...

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I always go prepared, but an evolution big twin is a great motor. My dad has ridden his Springer (which has the exact same motor as my 03) to Florida and back before and never had a problem. There is a lot of hype about Harley's being clunkers, that is true in a sense, the older ones were rattle traps and would literally rattle to pieces if the rider did not go through and tighten all the main bolts every other ride. The newer ones however are very reliable and last a long time with regular maintenance and care. But to each his own, I have been a Harley junkie ever since dad took me for my first ride as a passenger when I was 5, dreamed about owning one ever since, and now I finally have. But I am not a HD purist, I love all motorcycles big and small. Anything with two wheels is fun, and I have not had a bike under me that I didn't enjoy riding!

And YOU, my young friend, are a sterling example of class!! Perfect response. You obviously "get" the bigger picture that so many never will. Tell your old man he did good and enjoy the hell out of your trip, your bike, and the connection you have with your father.

Pictures suck. My phone is a piece of junk.

Picked up a Suzuki Katana 750F for $600. It's got 11K on it.

So it's not an MC... it's an Owners' Group or Riding Club?
How long has it been around?

Yea the VMC is a riding group. Now they have chapters and stuff in most of the states kinda like what TTORA is. The VMC also has a forum and all kinds of other featers as well as the VOG.

I'm just curious how long they are going to be around flying the "MC" label.

They are not flying any MC label and besides that any established "club" can fly the label. They have been around since 1998 it is just a forum same as this one just with Victory motorcycle's.

There are those who would disagree.

Not my problem or business though... just curious.
