because HD's are awesome. i did the same got rid of my gixxer and bought a 2012 street bob.

totally different bike and SO MUCH BETTER TO RIDE!

yea...same thing around me. when i rode my gixxer me and all the guys i ended up riding with had gixxers...we started calling them "ME TOO's" cause every time you told someone you had a gixxer they would say ME TOO!?!?!

so i bought a HD...and no one i know has the same bike...and i have only seen two other ones since and they were at bike nights.

but i do miss rippin tits in the twisties

Here is my '11 Suzuki V-Strom 650 before, during, and after my 1,500 mile Memorial Day Weekend trip last May. I call her the Fat Chick, because she's not the sexiest thing on the road, but she is a lot of fun to ride.

Really? When I had my superglide, there were two others on my street. My street is three blocks long.

I'm not knocking Harleys, but sales stats alone make it the biggest "me too" bike in the USA.

Nothing wrong with a Harley, as long as that's what the owner RIDES. Same with a Yamaha, Suzuki, or Hyosung- doesn't matter.
It's the ones that sit in the garage for months while the owner wears Harley t-shirts daily that bug me.

I love my Harley. But I also love different bikes. I road and Star Roadliner (I think). It looked like their version of the Street Glide. I freaking loved it. I'm also a fan of the Yamaha Raider and Stryker. Both are beautiful bikes.
