Had the surgery done in 1997 and it turned out great. It will get better each day. I had a deviated septum fixed and a polyp removed that were causing sinus infections from Nov to April every year. No antibiotic would help for more than a week. Pred worked but I became a major azz while taking it. Had a tolerance for stupid people that was about 2 seconds long.

The weekly Dr's cleanout will make you breath like you never thought possible. Keep using the saline spray and flonase, they'll help the most. Stay away from the Afrin and such, they'll cause damage to the healing sinus passages.

Uncle Frank........they helped somewhat, but nothing has helped with the sinus headaches. I think its just left over pressure buildup.

May have to go back to the sinus dr again. I'm breathing fine through the side of my nose that got cut on......but not so good through the side they used the balloon procedure on.

I know I'm coming into this a little late, but I hope you get to feeling better. Hope everything heals up and you don't have any more problems. I know that's got to be a pain in the rear. Keep us updated, bud. My sister had sinus surgery, though not as involved as yours and she liked to keep me updated with pictures of her various nose/sinus cleanings. Kind of gross but I've seen worse.
