Just installed yesterday. First HU install I've done. It was pretty easy, but took longer than I thought.

the metal case of an old model train controller. I had to be creative cuz i did it during the big snow storm before x-mas and i wasn't going to leave the job half done.

I have a 2009 Taco, been researching installing a DD indash Navigation . either a JVC NX7000BT or Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT, any Idea which one is better , i am at lost when it comes to these things. I need to have Blue Tooth , sat radio , and Steering control for the radio operation and of course the Navigation. went to Best Buy and could not get an ansewr , Best Buy didnt have much of a selection either , i will end up getting it from Amazon and have it installed. the other thing i need to know is the Trim around the HU,,, is that comes with the HU or i got to buy it seperatly??? I guess the trim kit around the existing radi will not be good.?? or could it be used by triming it or somthing?? I saw a trim on Amazon made by Scosche TA2053S98 is that the one you have in the photos?? hay any suggestion will be much appreciated. Fullback

Its all in one unit now. iPod, Sirius, AUX, Tuner, Phone, etc. I had to get a Sirius converter so that it could work in the HU.

That's awesome man, I'd like to get rid of that XM receiver in my truck but my HU isn't that new so I'd probably need to get a new one, I'd like to go with a touchscreen or something similar to what you have they just cost so much!

Everything you need can be found in this thread. Specifically, the posts by PSUnick. I'm very happy with the outcome and it's not hard at all.
