Looking for wheel and tire options for for my incoming Barcelona red 4x2. Could use some pics for ideas and other subtle mods

Oh there are many ways to drain that wallet. Drive the truck, enjoy it, and modify 'er as needs arise. :cookiemonster:

That said, 265/70-17 on the 4Runner SEMA. Classic, popular, can't go wrong.

Very easily so, yes. There's no major difference in dimensions between the 2wd and 4x4 versions on the 3rd gen, with one exception. Our center frame crossmember is located in a different spot, which means transmission skids/cat shields need to be 2WD specific. Most other parts, including wheels, tires and suspension - it's all good, no worries.

How's access to oil filter? Didn't look bad when I viewed one from a used 4 cylinder they had on the lot. But I didn't crawl under it.

Super easy. It's a paper cartridge and not the typical oil canister, but still easy.

It's four bolts to drop the splash guard, or an easy hatch if you have the aluminum skid plate.

Oh wait, you got the 6 cylinder. I'm getting the 4 cyl. The 4 has the regular oil filter canister

Ah. It's also easy to access that one.
