Yeah, but sometimes I think variants of some of the 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 sets are cool enough to buy multiple sets. The first and so far only set I've bought two of is the Roadwork Crew. It was relatively cheap compared to other sets I've bought and I thought it would be cool to have a fleet of road construction vehicles. The aircraft I was talking about earlier is only $20!

    Like I said... Budget!

I have a 2010 Tacoma RC with just under 80K on the clock, a gift from my dad; The truck has been paid off for almost 5 years, and the title is in my name; From the stereo system, to the rims, to the @HomerTaco Satoshi-style grille, my truck also happens to be pretty decked out. Obviously I have no plans to buy, nor do I need to buy, a new vehicle.

So, since I've got reliable transportation that will easily last me another couple decades, I figured I'd start saving up for a house. I hope to be an HVAC technician by the time I'm 32, and to have my own place by the time I'm 35. Once I've got the career and the house situation taken care of, then I'll really go nuts with the LEGOs!

Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding. Good luck with the budgeting. I can say by looking from the other side of your plan, Lego quickly fills up a house!

I'm gonna stick with the cheaper sets. The Porsche is the one I have my eye on right now. I have enough money for that one. The Bucket Loaded is pretty sick though!

The Porsche is a pretty solid set; definitely recommend it. I was eagerly awaiting the Bucket Wheel when it released, but I'm also a sucker for mining equipment. That said, you have a good plan moving forward, so you're smart to not go overboard with Lego.

I would never trust movers, or the crew of a cargo ship, with my LEGO models...

My Grandma bought me a very expensive 1:18 scale model of a 1936 Mercedes for Christmas in 2001, out of the Smithsonian catalogue. We moved to Virginia from Washington about 7 months later, and the car did not arrive in Virginia in one piece...

I have my collection insured. So worst case I’ll have to hunt them down again.

My dad and I were just talking about whether or not LEGO collection would be insured in the event of some sort of catastrophe...

You think USAA would cover my LEGOs under my parents' homeowner's policy (and mine when I get my own place)?
