    This isn't a big deal...

But it'd be nice to have a button that would let me post in a thread without adding it to my subscriptions. There are several threads (mostly the new members threads) where I like to post to welcome somebody, but I don't want updates.

Before you flame, I know I can remove subscriptions, and I'll continue to do that... but it'd be nice to be able to use just one click to post without adding a subscription I have to remove later.

    That's all... thanks!

I feel ya man... ;) It seems like every time I check my in box, there's 600 new emails from subscribed threads too. I've tried to turn the email option off. Ain't happening.

When you post, there's an additional options at the bottom of the text box.. Make sure the "Thread Subscription" is set to do not subscribe. It usually stays set that way for me..

That is very frustrating on this site. Every time I post I have to go to subscribed threads, scroll down to the drop down menu and turn off email notification. Maybe there is a way to automatically turn off the email for every post but I haven't found it yet.

Edit: Hey, that is awesome. I never noticed that below the text box. Thanks.

In your user panel, you can choose to not be automatically subscribed to threads. Then you just need to manually subscribe with the button in the post/thread you want.
