Almost done with a full tank rolling on MTR and looks like I've lost 50-60miles. Update to follow by end of day.

I think we need to add a 24-25 mpg option to the poll. Second tank on my 4 banger came out to 25.2 mpg. Yeah i know i sound like a broken record but I'm drunk and just don't care :D

As others have reported, my MPG suddenly jumped up by nearly 4mpg yesterday. I'm at about 725 total miles, filled the tank, as usual the computer reset the monitor, right away I noticed the display reported about 19 average in town. It had been getting about 15 average for a tank full. I drove a bit on the highway yesterday and the avg hit 21, then rush hour bumper to bumper dropped it to 18. Now I wonder if I'll start seeing the 19-24 Toyota says it can get.

Take delivery of 2016 AC OR AT end December. Anticipate good break-in driving. Understand a learning process. Have really enjoyed my '02 AC SR5 4cyl M/T. Will be bolting my 2500lb A-Frame PUP Chalet trailer to the '16 next. The '02 pulled it fantastically. Trailer will be sharp behind the new truck. I HOPE, I Hope it does well.

I have been checking fuelly.com and haven't seen any 2016 numbers yet. I am moving alot closer to work in April so FINALLY my dream of getting back into a truck is getting closer to reality as fuel will almost be a non factor. Any of you considering posting numbers there?

I have about 3200 miles now on a TRD OR DCSB 4x4 averaging 16.8 mpg ....... on the computer and manually as I keep a detailed log of mileage/fuel stops etc.

This is almost entirely highway driving at 75 mph. I think this is the worst mileage on this thread

Mine is there, as you can see below. My numbers are from hand calculation but I am putting the computer avg. in the "notes". Problem is they don't have the truck listed yet so you have to make it up under "other". As usual, my numbers are way better than what others are seeing, proving, its all about how you drive. Those complaining about poor mpg need to improve their driving habits.

My first tank I forgot to set the trip meter, so my info is from the computer. It seems like for a lot of people, the hand calculation is higher than the computer. If mine is reasonably close, I will be happy. My first tank average was 20.7 with about 65% city driving. The one highway trip, which was about 80 miles round trip, showed 24.2 at 60-65mph. My truck is a DCSB TRD Sport 2wd auto.

My dad's first tank average was just over 23 with about a 50/50 split between city/highway. He has a DCSB SR5 auto V6 2wd. He picked up his 2016 a few hours before I picked up mine.

I have noticed that my 50 mi frwy trip TO work is about 23+ MPG. Now, this is a lot of downhill and I have a 4x4 so I'm happy with hit. Overall, I have been getting 19ish

On my last tank I got 16.5MPG. I have been driving the tacoma with a heavy pedal, but I did also put on all terrain tires. I'm going to try my best to not jack rabbit on this tank. Hopefully I can get something decent.
