i was thinking about giving it time but its BOUNCY asf im not joking. I’m planning to remove the 3rd leaf from the top. Its very uncomftorable. I have the 300lbs high roof shell, rear steel wrap around bumper, rear diff armor and 200lbs in the bed thats always ther. But youre saying give it time…..idk if i can do that lol. How bout if i put a lot of weight in the back like logs and drive it like that for a week the take it all off? Will it re settle back up and ride like crap. Idk this is killing me.

@YotaGangYotaGang you've only had them a day. I can assure you mine was bouncy too. Time will help. It took mine a good week with weight and some light wheeling to help flex/bend/settle them more into place. I had the same worries you do now.

Edit:yes they were bouncy at the get go. I still have the weight. Giving it another month.

aww fuck i dont know if i can justify carrying that much more weight for months lol I was supposed to go traveling this month. I can put 500extra lbs in the rear for a week and take it to a place where I can flex her out, but after thT if it still rides jumpy ill remove a leaf , thx

@YotaGangYotaGang hopefully it settles some for you with the weight you have. I think time and driving it will be helpful. Depends on your patience too haha

@YotaGangYotaGang tbh i might be doing the same. Tried taking the weight out and it's still bouncy. Feels like a pogo stick.

remove the whole leafpack from the truck, use a c clamp and slowly let off and the leafs come out, was easy

Any chance a shock is too short? I managed to get one shock too short and that was pretty awful, zero droop.

@YotaGangYotaGang sounds simple enough. Once i get warmer than 10°f weather I'll be doing that most likely. Thanks.

@0xDEADBEEF I'm wondering that too but i thought driver and passenger side were different lengths? I read that somewhere and actually switched my shocks around because i had a hard time putting them in initially. Once i switched them over it was easy. They're 5100s for a 0-2.5 in lift i think? IIRC

5100s ought to be fine, that’s what I moved to.

Updated pics from the last time I posted. Added bug shield and rain guards. Also Added new leer shell, found out they only offer the 100r mode for truck now. I then added prinsu topper rack, and loaded some recovery boards and storage case!
