They really don’t look bad. They look a lot better than the sport rims. I saw the same design rims on a Tundra that really looked nice.
8” wide with a zero or -10 offset would be nice if they came stock that way. I am torn about getting different rims. I can’t really find 255’ I like, may just keep these and run 285’s if I ever get that suspension...

Ome 3" front lift (887 coils & nitrogen sport shocks) 2" ready lift rear blocks w/ ome nitrogen sport shocks 285/70/17 bfg k02's on 17x7 trd pro 4Runner wheels Bakflip teaunno cover N fab step bars Heritage grill 15% window tint
Hey man, so I just went through exactly: 285/75/16 nitro ridge grappler. I have a ome 3” lift and the tires rub the upper control arms are full lock. At 90-95% it doesn’t rub, that extra little bit seem to make the difference and it would hit/rub. To make it work you have a few choices: wheel spacers, keep the tire and change the wheel with a different backspace, or keep the wheel and go with a smaller tire. I chose smaller tire keep the wheel (265/75/16 duratrac)

Any 3rd gen SR, SR5 owners out there running this size on 16x8 zero offset with no lift? How about -12mm offset? Thank You.

265/75/16 duratracs vs 285/75/16 ridge grapplers

Note: the 285/16’s rub at full lock with a 3” ome lift. My reason for switching to a 265/16 duratrac. Yes I could of made the 285’s work by changing the wheel, adding a wheel spacer but I wanted to keep the stock trd o/r wheel.

I also have a set of big ko2’s 285/70/17’s on trd pro 4Runner wheels no issues what so ever with the 285’s. Just wanted to post incase someone was curious what will and won’t work and how to remedy the issues.

I like it, looks alot like my truck.

Question: do you ever clip those step bars on anything while on the trail? I would be SO paranoid about that.

Honestly I put them on mainly for the wife. The last truck didn’t have any. Haven’t crunched one yet but if they ever do I want rock sliders

Tried on some 265 KM2s a few weeks back!

Didn't hurt the 2.7 5-spd that much at all, I was quite impressed and thankful I gave em a shot.

I have a stock 2017 SR with steelies. It's time to kick off the vespa tires it came with. I was looking at the Hankook Dynapro ATMs.

Can I fit 265/75/16? I am so thick when it comes to understanding rubbing issues...

You should be fine. There’s lot of threads on here about the biggest tire that will fit with no rubbing and many of us are running 265/75/16.

Thanks. I'm always a bit hesitant as most I see on here are TRD-ORs or something similar, and I'm not sure how that impacts the available space/clearance compared to my SR.

265/75R16’s. Just right for my regular cab. I think honestly I could go up to 285/75R16’s and not notice too much of a huge driving difference, though.

Do you run into any issues on the 2nd gen running this tire spec? Anything with abs, gearing, etc?
