Just put on some Falken Rubitreks in 265/75/16 tonight. Feel great. Look great. Balanced up without an issue on the first try.

Anyone have issues with tires rubbing suspension on 265-75-16 on stock wheels and suspension. Or have pics of how close it rides to everything?

I’m on stock SR suspension, stock SR5 wheels (+25mm I believe). I’ve got plenty of clearance! No rubbing whatsoever. Was even able to put my husky mudguards back on. Just grabbed some daytime pics for you. Hope that helps!

    THX much Tugboat
This is way the way I plan to go - I am keeping the stock TRD OR wheels because of the +25mm off set.
I wish I could find some really badass 16x8 black wheels with +25 offset but no luck. Maybe powder caot the stock wheels ? ? ? ?
From all the research I have done I am convinced that the offset is best answer to the rubbing issue.
You start moving the wheels out to get a more aggressive look - which I get - you start to introduce all kinds of unintended consequences.
    True Story:
About 15 or so years ago a buddy and I ended up in a bar drinking with two Ford engineers.
They really schooled us on having intimate relations with the suspension geometry of your vehicle to include wheels and tires.
Lesson learned: you can probably get away with pushing the envelope a tad but get too extreme and . . . .

2nd gens are getting washed out more and more on this forum, especially the desert sand mica color so figured I’d post mine up. Just put on 265/75r16 Hankook Dynapro ATM . Plan on bilstein 5100’s soon as well. Still love the reliability of these 2nd gen 4.0’s Picked this one up last month with 120k miles on it for a steal

@blacksheepstreetco. that's a clean looking truck. 120K for Toyota is just broken in! Nothing freshens up an older truck than a new set of wheels. Just saying.

@Discount Tire appreciate it! And excited to see the miles and places this Yota will take. I may purchase some wheels later down the road! We are headed over to Arizona for our Honeymoon in March so spending has to stop for now
