what do you guys think about 275/70/17s

you think I’ll be able to run these with a jba UCA ?

 

Without doing any modifications of course lol

What's your definition of "without modifications"? Because aftermarket uca's are a modification

 

I meaning like getting rid of mud flaps and cutting or bending etc

 

what about 275-70-17 with a jba UCA and a 2.5 inch front lift

 

That is correct I will probably be like .5-1 inch higher in the front if that now I’m thinking about 275-70-17s .. the 285 is a little too wide

 

What wheel specs?

Right now i have 17 inch rims from a 2022 4Runner and I have no idea what offset only thing I know about the tires I wanna get is that they are 275/70/17 and I think that’ comes out to a 32.2 inch diameter

 

37’s… one day. That’s a whole cab mount relocate, chop doesn’t get it, right? How much did you have to cut tubbing it out?

Yeah man.. I guess ima just have to do 265’s 70 17

 

Or chop the mount. It’s easy, and the plates aren’t very expensive. Can you weld, or have a friend who can?

 

which mount ?? I don’t like the idea of chopping any part of my truck up but I guess u gotta make sacrifices

 

see my prior post... those are 275/70/17 with 2" lift. I think another 1/2" of lift would would help but still might hit flaps andneed to trim. In my case i'm sure i would have had to do the cmc with 285's... with the 275's i only have around 5/8" clearance. So far with the offroading i've done i haven't hit.

Actually about to drop back to a 35 once this set goes bald. Truck is a ticking time bomb on the trails lol. These are really the only photos I have during the tub.

Its no longer an if it breaks...it's when. I've snapped 2 cv axles so far on the trails and id rather not be a trail tampon.

@Redtaco777 honestly, your best bet is to just run a 265/70/17. Won't have to worry about anything
