This is what I’ve been waiting to see. Everyone is jazzed about the pro in blue, but black is just so classy and menacing at the same time. Beautiful truck man!

Built this truck for a local client of ours. One of the last 2017’s. We did a Bilstein loft, wheel and tire package, leather interior, custom painted badges to match wheels and a couple other things.
We build these lifted 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sports at Silver Arrow Cars LTD in Victoria, BC.

Three new builds coming in 2018 including Cement, Black and Silver. Will share them as well as previous builds too

Got my Taco in August after years loving an Xterra. Here’s the new ride. Can’t wait for some snow days.

 

You beat me to it, I've got the same wheels riding on 265/75/16s. After they wear out I may get 285s. Do they rub?

 

I was going to make my own thread but I figured I’d start here 1st.

Anyone have any matte black graphics on their rear beds on a black taco? I’ve seen tacos rebadged with custom vinyl stickers in all shapes and forms but never a matte black look on a black truck. My truck came without any of the sticker/badging, especially the huge bright red 4x4 normally seen on the rears. I’m thinking that matte black would look subtle enough & might look pretty dope. Has anyone done this on their black tacos?

To that point, I’m thinking of ordering the matte black tailgate lettering for my black truck, has anyone done that? I think that it would add a nice low profile custom look to an unfinished, in my opinion, area for very cheap.

 

I like the sound of that. I think the matte black lettering on the rear of the truck would look great. If you find a source, post it, please!

 

I ordered a $8 “TACOMA” tailgate matte black vinyl lettering kit off of eBay. I’m gonna start with that & see what it looks like. If it stands out in a good way I’ll look into the rear badging/stickers for each side. Unless someone beats me to it or has them already...?

in matte black on my black truck

 

Got mine a little over a week ago.

 

Carbon black painted plastic inserts.

 

They rub the front splash shields just a tiny tiny bit on sharp turns. And of course the mud flaps had to go.

 

Where did you get these?

 

Your wheels remind me of the OEM steel wheels that came on my old 90 2WD Hilux. Definitely like that look. Good job!

 

Anyone looking for a cap for their black 3rd gen? I’m selling one.

 

I've been wanting to see what this looks like too. I want to change the trd 4x4 sticker on the bed and possibly add a matte black sticker to my tinted windows.

Looks like this guy may have just gave us what we want. Is that a matte black sticker? Or is it grey?
