How did you do the headlights? Did the brightness of the headlights change?

Since I tinted the chrome in the "brights" housing they are dimmer but the LED DTRL's and the projector are not affected.

    Lots of good info here.

Installed an MX4 - really like the look of the low profile but the rods keep falling when I shut the flaps. The clips that hold in the rods suck...

    IMG_0444.jpg

Moving my smoker after a BBQ - really like how the flaps fold up to protect the cab.

    IMG_0418.jpg

Hauled a full bed of mulch; once again the rear cab protection worked great here as I was able to pile up and get more bags in.

    I've enjoyed having them.

They extend out a decent amount and should help protect from door dings in parking lots. I'm under no illusions that they'll offer any protection in offroad situations.

I'd love to have some frame mounted (bolt on or welded) real sliders, but have other mods that I wanted to get done first. These were very low cost on Amazon and shipped lightening fast....ordered on a Sunday and they arrived on the following Wednesday. Well padded and all hardware & instructions were included (this is something I'd seen some customers give negative reviews about...missing hardware).

They are positioned sort of high for me to step up on them, my truck is currently the perfect height for me to to simply sit on the seat and slide in...pushing off the Tyger rails to schootch into position behind the wheel.

Installation was much easier with the use of some jack stands.

Positioned them fairly close to position.....then use a creeper to slide under them and lift and bolt into place.

I also bought their matching receiver hitch step. It looks just like their step rail.....or slyders, as I call 'em. :)

Very nice. I have the same baby Weber grill.love it. I did see an extra $15 coupon for the tyger sliders. Might pull the trigger on these

This is basically a spray sealer. I love it. Really brings out the shine on the Midnight Black Metalic paint. You can get a small bottle pretty cheap on Amazon. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. Just make sure your truck is in the shade and cool to the touch.

Noticed some chips along tailgate edge today with metal exposed. I have no idea how anything would have caused that as I haven't loaded my bed in weeks and it was not noticed last week when washing my truck. Anyway, I'd like to get it taken care of as I worry it's going to start to rust even more. Is this the proper duplicolor pen to order for our color? Just want to make sure?

Finally got around to washing my truck for the first time in ages!IMG_20180513_161731.jpgAnd discovered my first ding :(
IMG_20180513_161925.jpg It's almost impossible to take a picture of, but right on the edge of the driveway in the reflection there's a little fish eye action going on with the one weed. Looks like a shopping cart hit, tiny little dent with some very minor scratches.

I'll have had the truck 2 years in August, so I'm very happy I made it this long and that it's such a small ding.

Ya, well that was missing for about a year. I climb cell towers for work and I go some interesting places off road. The short version is that if I hit any water crossing as speed that bumper section would just go missing every single time. the water would hit the skid plate, shoot up and push out the chin. I got tired of replacing it.
