Note: deleting the accumulator isnt actually modifying the clutch or slave cylinder at all. Actually allows them to last longer...

I could say that I think TRD "modding" your truck is a complete waste of time and money, especially if you're looking for a "performance" gain. It's your money hoss, and those Toyota bros sure like taking it.
I wouldn't say that though, because it's none of my business and it ain't my money.

    Lol the "performance gains" were:
the Bilstein suspension set to the correct level,
the Michelin Defenders which dropped 7lbs of unsprung rotating weight per corner and perform night and day different than the factory tires (which are good too)
and the Titanium hardware which will never corrode or seize over years of use in inclimate weather.
additionally, we could 'argue' about the Intake/exhaust combo's efficacy on the MT which can be revved higher into the 'power-band' than the AT, and the perceptively better throttle response they yielded.

and im an unrepentant Genuine TRD™ mark, so im not sure what point youre making about me gladly giving money to Toyota...

For this to be true, it begs the question:
    >"Why didnt the Toyota engineers do this in the first place...?"
the answer is simple, its because mechanically, the accumulator allows for more predictable clutch engagement time-over-time, in alll feasible drive-load scenarios. A stabilized variable is always a more desirable engineering outcome.
Toyota is trying to engineer out every Tom, MOC221 and Harry's subjective take on "how to work a clutch" and "how a clutch should feel", in recognition of the fact that many peoples level of experience an ability slipping a clutch has a great deal of variance, which wears on the components in different and novel ways that they are mitigating for.
Vehicles with "high" relative torque and/or "tall" first gears often have them to protect the drivetrain, especially in Truck applications that MAY include towing, extra weight etc...

Probably because too many ex-Scubaru pilots were wrecking their clutches/transmissions/ujoints/axles. For that, the rest of us can't have nice things.

BTW, what's the oil cap doin for ya?

Cool, hope it didn't run ya too much.
Not sure why the engineers didn't think of it.
    Oh well.

lol Because its the marketing departments job to sell things that say " TRD " on it, not the Engineers

If the engineers thought you needed it, your truck would've come off the line with a TRD oil cap. Therefore, you don't need it. They are all powerful and all knowing.
    Just pure logic.

Its almost as if the Automotive industry is profit-driven, and selling shiny widgets with the magic letters on them is good for business isnt it?

County Roads with 8ft tall Walls of Corn on either side essentially create private race tracks LOL. Long stretches of winding roads with tunnel-like privacy. Its the best time of year.

Me too. I've had about 10 cars/trucks. This is the first thing I had tinted. It was almost necessary to look right with the dyed back glass. Not the best pics, but it makes a difference on black for sure
