Tacomas are beautiful trucks. And while there are plenty in parking lots, there also a fair number that get out there.

Inevitably, if you're off-roading (not just forest service highways), you're likely to get some damage.

Show us those scratches, dings, dents, and breaks!

Most noticeable damage is the dent on the tail gate from sliding down a hill and hit a tree, bumper saved it mostly

cumulative over the last several adventures:
    • Various dents
    • Loads of pinstripe scratches
    • Destroyed tire
    • Dented and seriously scraped skids
    • Dented and scraped metal nerf bars
    • Badly dented (smashed) front quarter panel
All that being said, most of my buddies own jeeps. And we go on some gnarly trails.
You don't have to abuse your taco like this. But we have great fun. :)

    Pretty truck

Snowbank broke and slide into a tree :(

Blew a bead at the top of a trail in a downpour

Turned out a very sharp stick had punched into the tire... FIRST DAY ON THEM :(

I have been spacing up my upgrades and opted for Steel Running Boards by Oeadro(?). Only $250 some bucks and have saved my skin and paint numerous times.
Real sliders are worth it and I have some coming -- but steel runners will do well enough for 75% of stuff

When your buddy gets his jeep between a rock and a hard place... (tow strap, pulling boulder out)

Scouting a really nasty trail, wasn't looking and busted my front panel :(
I should have gone for the full-width steel bumper!!!

But it's a tacoma. So still a badass truck that gets you to some beautiful places.

Really folks, if you have one, GET OUT THERE. Scratches, dings, and dents. It's usually worth it :)
