I installed the extractors on my hilux and swapped the muffler.

This is my latest creation though:

    A few questions:

Does it uses the factory headlight housing?

Does it replaces the whole headlight?

Does it uses the factory plugs or splicing is involved?

A link would be nice, I rearended a Honda Odissey and both my headlights broke some tabs, still sealed but rattle a bit, evaluating options for the headlights upgrade.
$350.00+tax each for replacements at the dealer.

    Thanks
    Mandy

Where'd you get the toyota trucks emblem? I want one... did you just grind down a trailer hitch plug? EDIT.. nevermind I found the thread on the other board where you made it.
Dang.. I'm not that dexterous...nor do I have a plasma cutter.

My favorite mod is putting an AC electrical outlet next to my radio aux outlet. The wires from the inverter converge under the passenger seat... just splice off of those and install a socket face in the knock outs next to the shifter.

I put a 3-outlet cigarette lighter splitter in my console, and a mini-USB extension so I can power my GPS & iPhone without using the stock outlet.

Then I did the lighted 4x switch (thanks fellow member for the kit)
Then I did the locking tailgate (thanks fellow member for the kit)
    Then I wired-up my 4x lights factoryish.

Here you go. Sorry the pic doesn't show well, but it looks really tidy. The USB just comes up through a small hole that already exists. I bought the outlet at Pep Boys and the mini B USB online. Now I can unplug the charger and the USB and take it in another car.

I also made this bracket to hold my phone, then added a lollipop bracket above to hold the GPS. It works surprisingly well. The GPS is a larger than usual one (1490T).

    dash2_0eb54436b540a6299b9c880275e4f38f37526371.jpg
I really like having these things at my fingertips, and hiding the cables and everything off the windshield. They are a bit in my face, but that's OK.

I made the bracket from stainless sheet (still has plastic protector on). It bolts to bottom radio mount and bracket and cables poke out corner. I had to use a dab of glue to keep GPS bracket steady.
