All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
TW, what’s your favorite piece of gear that you take with you in the truck/person. It can be related to camping, tools, etc.

Pics, Explanation of usage and maybe a link to where you can find it.

I got skills in finding cool gear and tools, and friends keep asking me where I find this stuff. So I thought I would start sharing.

Here is another I have been using on my ADV bike. Bought another and thru it in the Taco.

I love my leatherman. Comes in handy all the time at camp and on the trail. I had the wave and I just bumped up to the surge. I always carry one on me when I am out and about. Great tool

I currently am using these two. The knife uses as replaceable razor blade so I can abuse the blades and not worry to much about it. The leather men is used for about every other thing you can imagine.

These are awful handy. I have a pair for the garage, and keep a pair in the glove box for roadside problems. Pretty good light for being basically unnoticeable, plus they keep dirt and grit from falling in my eyes. They’re $20 a pair, take flat button style batteries.

What is that thing? Some sort of space age gum? Haven’t seen one of those since I was young!

The list is long, but distinguished.
Not my favorite, but I have 2 small fire extinguishers; one mounted in the cab, and one mounted in the bed.

My zebra light headlamp. Bright as hell if you need it to be, but has lots of settings for lower light and strobe. Built like a tank and has never failed me. It has accompanied me on far away international trips as well.

A woobie. Greatest invention of the U.S. military ever. Have one for my place and for the truck. And if it isn't woodland, you are wrong.

A bra light... I can see where that would be useful!

I need one of these. A guy at REI was talking about it. Where did you acquire yours and thanks for sharing...I had forgotten what he called it.

REI carries a brand named "Rumpl" that basically made a "pretty" version of the woobie, which is the affectionate name for the US Military poncho liner.

As far as the one I posted, most decent mil surplus store should have them cheap, or you can find them new online for cheap.

Here's a place to get one for a good price, but just not woodland.
