I think he meant that it did not do what MOST bears do and climb a tree making it an easier kill. They had to chase it causing further exertion on the hunting party, which makes it a douche...

Just throwing darts here though. Seems like its would just be part of the game to me though.

Yeah that's no joke.

 

I look at is how many deer or larger game you saved by killing a bear

 

Bears eat more grass than anything, grass, roadkill or coyote kills and stuff like that. I've never stumbled onto a fresh bear kill and I like to think I spend a good amount of time out in the mountains.

 

I spend a lot of time in the woods and dont see many bears but I know they are there...heres a video for you make sure you turn you sound down if you are working otherwise the deer bleat will be loud

 

I know it happens, I've just never found one.

 

Who in the hell would be standing there filming that that close? What if that deer somehow got away, guess who is next in line to get mauled.

Fished from the kayak yesterday -- practicing for an upcoming tournament. Caught 10 smallmouth, and most on an ultralight. Fun! Managed a couple nice 19" walleye, and somehow, I foul-hooked a carp. It was a nice day out on the water.

 

Anyone gonna try and fight me today?

Catch and Release, jus so ya know.

 

I can so far say Ive never seen a bear in a tree like that....I did see some cubs climbing up about 7-8 feet but not that high.

 

They'll come climb.

 

we still havent gotten anything on bait...except birds...
