    Outstanding congrats that's going to be next on my list of big game animals it will also be my first out of state hunt due to the fact it's illegal in my state. Was this in PA?

    Definitely would like to experience it some day but for the first time I think I'd like to be in a stand over bait or spot and stalk. In the north east where I live it's basically hunting from a trans stand or on the ground so I would at least have experience in that aspect. Honestly one of my dream hunts is a Mountain Lion and that's pretty much thee only way to go as far as I know. And I used to hunt pheasant as a kid with my German weimaraners so I for sure have a passion for hunting with man's best friend.

    We supposedly have them up here but they are few and far between. In southern idaho they are more plentiful, and mean as crap!

    Found this track at about 3 this morning.

    543771A7-AE45-4F9A-B4DA-A9C6CBE998F7.jpg It looked pretty crappy and was heading into a pretty big canyon, so I drove around to the other side of the canyon and walked down into the bottom and found it again,

    Where it Looked a lot better out of the sun and breeze. So I called my friend up and he brought up his dogs a little before day light.
    We turned loose at the first track knowing it would get better, the dogs struggled at first so I walked down to help them. Right about the time I got to the bottom they figured it, trailed up the canyon 300 yards and had it caught about 30 yard from where I walked this morning.
