Not a bad start! I had a bunch of pictures of does, fawns and bachelor groups of smaller bucks. Looking forward to the next time I pull cards!

Nice pics! That first one looks like his front left leg is injured or it could be camera angle.

It does look injured, doesn't it? I'll scour through the photos again and see if I have different angles of him.

supposedly the opposite side antler will show a deformity if thats the case. Ive had one with a spike and one with a full 4pts. it would have been one I hit with my bow a few years ago but still no conclusive pics to prove it.

If you have time, I will tell the story. Dropped my buddy off at a huge CRP field with a few scattered climbable trees. We only use climbers. I went about 2 miles away to some other public land. He text me about an hour later and said he had walked thru crap about 8 ft tall for 45 minutes and finally found a tree but was hot, sweaty and pissed. Said there was no way he would see anything cause he had walked all over everything near him, sweating like a pig. He said he would sit in that tree till dark to rest and wait on me to pick him up. At about 4:30, he text me he had just shot a 15 pt. Ended up at 163 inches.

This is my best but have missed a couple quite a bit bigger. We use to have a few small private farms but they fell thru over the years and now everyone wants $ to let you hunt so we stick with public20170926_100104.jpg

Those days are always fun, I’ll like 3 in the afternoon anyway.

We’ve had a few days where we turn loose at daylight and don’t get home Until 3 am, walking from the start to the end, hoping you catch up or tree it, gotta love it.
