How have I not seen this thread before?!
Elk season last year, Dad, brother, and I each got an elk:

    Still, awesome rack(s)...!:D

I hope someday to hunt something like that, instead of just Whitetail! Still waiting to fill my bowtags here, it's been so warm most of the deer are moving at night. The rut is just starting here so I'm hoping to see more movement during the day.:notsure:

thx, due to warm weather the rut up here was late as well. So I feel very lucky to have taken one & that my freezer is full:) This guy came tearing out of the bush pissed off as hell ready to kick ass...I had to shoot him from a canoe. Whitetail is pretty exciting tho, very smart adversary especially when they feel the pressure!

Sweet! Shooting from a canoe:eek:? I have enough of a problem just staying upright in one:D!

I just had a neighbor/friend take me for a walk of his property. He raises cattle. Lots of fields surrounded by woodlots and hedgerows. Came across a few freshened scrapes! We are in the middle of a weeks worth of winds and rain and falling temps. I gotta get a couple stands set during the storms this week.

Soaked to the skin today, now it's nap time in front of the fire!:)

Haha! I almost thought someone was playing a prank on me. I've got the trifecta now for geese! Neck collar, leg band and now reward band. Pretty happy

This is a horrible photo, but the best I have from them... A whitetail deer, I don't know many of the stats but it is over a 200 class deer and over 300# in weight. Was shot by a co-worker's cousin.
