    That sucks man.

I called the game warden this year as well. On a deer I found while pheasant hunting. They left everything but the backstraps.

Yea, I was shocked. 16 fucking animals. That's unreal, especially when they get dumped basically on our property. Things you read about, but never anticipate personally dealing with.

 for calling that stuff in. my dad was a wildlife officer/assistant supervisor for 30+ years. or what ever it is in your state. game wardens, DNR, wildlife recourse agency(thats what it is here in TN) all boating/hunting and fishing laws get enforced by them.

This is not a racial statement so please dont take it that way. But, I have heard from several friends in ID and OR that the Mexicans are wrecking havoc the last year or two.

No respect is what it is.

And I am not saying or insinuating that that is who did this. Just commenting on what I have heard regarding this.

Gotta call poaching and waste in. No place in this world for those sort of folk.

There can definitely be a cultural issue from what I've observed. There is a similar reputation out here. Seems like there just isn't a culture of sportsmanship and respect for the animals and resources down there. Its just another resources to exploit and exhaust. However, your average white trash poacher is still by the far the worst, most consistent offender. Working in the timber industry has been a bit of an eye opener. Nothing turns adult, white men into squabbling little toddlers faster than centerfire elk season. Holy fuck.

I agree. just scum bags IMHO.

I have seen a few things out fishing/4 wheeling and told dad and he told the officers. I have a keen eye for stuff out of place. I’d rather report something thats just lightly odd/off and it be nothing than no do it and it be something.

dad has also told/shown me things to look out for. IMHO next time you or anyone sees bags like that, if you have a phone or camera on you take a photo or a few before you open them or anything. can show them exactly how you found it, especially if you start moving stuff around.

My buddy is the (only) DNR officer for our county. It's hard for him to cover everything here...the thousands of acres of woods, and the 14 miles of river below the lake, the lake itself, and the 20ish miles of river above the lake. I call him a lot, and a lot of people call me to get in touch with him because they know I'm friends with him. Considering he's the only one for our county, you've GOT to have people call stuff in. He can't be everywhere. Plus he gets called out to other counties to help them out with stuff...so his plate is full.

    So close to a limit(6). I haven't shot a limit in years.
My buddies dog, just under a year old, is doing very well.
His water bottle leaked in his vest, so his birds got soggy. haha

Yea, he was a good one.

I'm hunting some private property of my buddy's. I told him to help me get it in the truck...he said I'll be right there. Showed up with the tractor. Haha. Didn't even have to drag him. Made things a lot easier.

On his left main tine there was a larger hole in it. Big enough to put my whole pinky in.. Wish I had a pic of it. The taxidermist said it was likely a bacteria while it was in velvet.

Doe day today. Had a doe and a yearling (in heat) come through this morning...decided to let them walk in hopes that the monster buck we're after would be on their trail. About 20 minutes later I heard somethin come runnin. Tail up, head down. Tiny spike came through. Could have busted the 2 does easily. Gonna go back in the morning and put one down if they come through

    4 point this evening...

Doubled up with dad on a couple of young does this evening. The young ones eat the best. And they were too young to reproduce this year, otherwise I wouldn't have shot them.

The one dad shot ran right by me with its front leg on its back. He literally blew it's leg off. No clue how it ran anywhere.

A doe day is used to kill does...

At least around here. We only have like 3 days to kill does on public land, and like 6 or 7 on private land.

They were created to kill mature does. You don't improve a herd by removing its future.
