Killed my first pintail last night down here in the intercoastal of Texas. A nice change from the zillions of red heads that have apparently made this place home. i cut the wings off and have them drying now. gonna mount them on a piece of driftwood

Nice job man, I been dying to whack a pintail but yet to see one while hunting. Yesterday was rough with no wind 70b0a82de5fff7a324d2bf93678e2c7d_b65d0414bd273b782f04164de570f959adc43294.jpg

But somehow my buddy killed it solo hunting. His first time shooting a pintail

Drove 700 miles to Colorado for a coyote-prairie dog hunt. Called at 15-18 different places, all we got was these 2 badgers. And a couple truckloads of PD's. The only coyote we saw crossed the road as we were heading back to the hotel. A great trip.

The lone black duck in the bottom picture was my first banded duck. 5 year old that was tagged 120 miles away.
