285/75r17. No rubbing after cab mount chop and lots of fender flare and bumper trimming.

New Tire Size bump up, from 285/75/16 to 295/75/16's.FullSizeRender.jpg Prob 2-3/4" Lift on the King Coils. OME Dakars Full Leaf Pack Prob a tad higher than 2-3/4", or maybe it settled to 2-1/2". I need to trim the front fenders for sure. some at the top, the tire hits there when i get full compression,.. and off course ill need to get the CMC and pound in that Pinch Wield. I think after i do all that,..I will be GOLDEN!

Torn between 5100' with 885's and an AAL or going for broke with Icons with and dakars...

885's and 5100's on the DCLB was too soft of a spring when I had that setup. I think 886 would be better?

I have a 2016 DCLB that I put a CBI Aluminum Bumper on (weighs about 60lbs according to CBI). I have everything in my cart and am about to pull the trigger, but I'm a little perplexed about which coils to put under the front. In the rear I plan to have the Icon 1.5" AAL and Billstein 5100s and Billstein 5100s in the front with OME coils. Currently my truck is measuring 20-1/4" from the center of the hub to the fender in the front and 21-3/4" in the rear.

The 1.5" AAL in the rear should bring the back up to 23-1/4" and the literature Headstrong offroad sent me says the OME 887s will give me an approx lift height of 2-1/4" to bring the front up to measure 22-1/2".

Will the 887s ride too low? If it is too low can you adjust the 5100s ride height with aftermarket coils? Or are you only supposed to do that with factory coils?..

Getting ready to join this awesome group. Looking at Bilsteins, 885's, 2" AAL.

I only got 1.75" of lift with 885's. Just FYI ARB said that was totally within the accepted range for my truck. If you want 2.5 go with 887's. Just my opinion.

Decided on going with Icon 2.5 CO with 2.0 and dakars in the back. Placing order next week.

Hmm most here have gotten much more from that, do you have an aftermarket bumper or anything? Short or long bed shouldn't make any difference here. Also not looking to make my ride super stiff, thanks for the good food for thought.

I think lift heights are often rounded up. Drastically. No bumpers, truck was totally stock when I put on 885's. ARB said the lift range for my truck was 1.75-2.25. That's it. 885's will do 2.5 on a 4Runner for some reason.
