Yeah I paid $2.89 on Monday. We were in the low 2's for a while but the refineries come up with BS excuses such as maintenance, etc to reduce supply to jack up the prices. We also have these global warming fees that finally came in effect this year in which the oil companies just pass along to the consumer.

Wow! That sucks. I guess I'm spoiled where I live. The highest I've EVER paid was just shy of $4 (around $3.80) back in 2008-09...and I drove a V8 Crew Cab Titan. :-/

I've got around 3200 miles on mine now and the gas mileage is definitely improving. I'm up 1-2 mpg from when I first got the truck. The trans is spending more time in 6th gear and not down shifting to 4th nearly as often as it had been in the beginning. I've also noticed a few (3-5) mpg improvement not running ethanol blend fuels.

Decided to Hyper-mile a bit. This is me manually shifting and using every trick to improve MPG. Little bit of 60mph highway, then merge to 70mph, then 70% or so stop and go city. Usually does 13-14mpg on this loop in the cold when it is shifting

Did 12 miles of mudding for 2. 5 hours in Azusa canyon OHV Area. Got 6.6 mpg with never turning off the truck for 2.5 hours.

I wasn't overly impressed at first but Im happy now that I've got some miles on it. After crossing 3000 miles the transmission seems to be shifting at the right times and mileage has improved a few mpg. I'm currently averaging in winter driving what my 2005 got during the summer months.

Funny you said that. I went on a 1000 mile road trip to Arizona over the weekend (now at 3500 miles) and noticed great gas mileage throughout the trip. I was doing 75-80 and still getting 21 MPG's. A month ago, I would be lucky to get 19 MPG's driving that fast. On the way home after dropping off the girlfriend, I got the best mileage on the truck so far.

That's pretty much exactly what happened with mine. I went from 15-16 mpg to 18-19 driving 75. Once it warms up here in the Midwest, I'd expect to be right around what you are getting.

I just got mine on Dec 30 and I am seeing 19 MPG and I am wondering where the 19-24 is bone stock still, I have had a few lifted ones with 35's and was getting 16. So if I am gona only loose 3 MPG I might as well do it again. please tell me it gets better with mileage on it.

38psi cold?! The door sticker says 29psi cold! What is your reasoning for running 38?

My tires says max psi of 44. Was testing if it helps mpg which it did. The tpms shows when hot it's about 39-40psi. In the summer I will drop it to 30-35 cold.
