2016 sr access cab long bed 4cyl averaged me 21mpg

2016 sr5 dcsb v6 averaged me 20mpg stock and 21-22mpg after exhaust and bed cover... There Was a noticeable change in mpg at higher speeds but lower speeds Was the same.

    2017 sr5 dcsb v6 4x4 is averaging me 19mpg..

I guess the extra weight of 4x4 plays a role in that... I'll take that trade off though...

After the exhaust and bed cover hopefully it goes up a little...

So typical of my road trips... had a headwind heading east, now a couple days later have a headwind headed back home. Showing 21mpg on this tank, and at 70mph. FU headwinds

    Make that 20mpg. Keeps dropping

I am averaging 19.5 mpg. If I do a lot of interstate driving, mileage drops to 18.7 mpg. If I do a lot of two lane highway driving at 55-60 mph, mileage increases to 20 mpg.

That's both amazing mpg with a supercharger and high mileage. You're doing something right or your Tacoma was built on a Wednesday morning Danny blues

I heard 2nd gens with the 4.0 get slightly better mileage than the new 3.5's. Can anyone attest to that? I was pretty surprised to hear.

Fuel light came on at 399 miles today on my way home, figure that's probably 399mi/18g=22.16 mpg avg for this tank. Pretty even mix of roads and speeds.

Bizzare duder, so did mine, right at 399 driving home at 4:30. Same truck as your but white. I'll fill in the morning and check my mileage.

Crazy! It was just about 4:30 for me too... and I'm planning to fill in the morning too. Did your bed rack come in the mail today as well?

How many miles to your gas station, and how worried were you that you wouldn't make it tomorrow?

Me "There should be 60 miles left with the light on--yeah, should be"

Well I'm going to go put my bed rack on at work cuz that's where my tools are, then I'll fill up in the way home. I'll prolly be 425-430 miles when I fill up. Should be plenty left in there to make that. :fingerscrossed:

If your fuel pump doesn't melt through your tank on the way, never go below 3/4 tank.......joking of course.

    Nice tanks fellas.
