I got 14.5 on a 150 mile trip traveling about 75mph. All stock. Up and down foothills but nothing crazy. Truck constantly drops to 4th with this radar cruise thing. I’m pretty disappointed with the mpg. Idk what I’ll do if it doesn’t go up. Thinking about the OVTune

After upgrading to 265’s, my mpg went from 18-18.5 to 17.5-8.

This was on a trip to Spokane, WA. Pretty flat the whole way with a little 5-10mph wind. cruise control set at 75mph basically the whole way. Auto 2020 DCLB 4x4 with 3 adults in the truck and maybe 100lbs in the bed of the truck.

Was averaging 22.9-23.6 mpg on regular E10 87 shell gasoline. Recently filled up with 18 gallons of shell premium E10 92 or 93 premium...within a few miles i noticed poorer performance, and more transmission hunting on the same roads traveled with the same driving habits. Best fuel economy i've seen now is 21.9 mpg. Imo, this truck does not like premium fuels.

I did it the old school way for the first 2 years I had my truck and stored it all in an app. I was surprised that the truck computer was almost spot on every time! Unfortunately for me, ever since I put duratracs on, I’m lucky if I see 18.5 MpG

With my stock tires, I used to get above 20, maybe 22. With my duratrac’s, I was getting 18mpg until I lowered my tire pressure and it went to about 18.8. Experiment

2020 TRD Off Road stock wheels/tires. Low of 18.4, high of 21.6 These numbers are based on a full tank and the fantastic thing is that my mileage lie-o-meter is always less than actual MPG.

A bigger than stock tire diameter will slow the odometer and make you mileage seem less in numbers, but if you correct for the bigger tire, the only MPG loss would be for the heavier tires.

Many of us at least go up an inch from 31" (265/70-16) to 32" (265/75-16) tires, and that slows the odometer about 4%... but does make the speedometer read correctly (since the factory alters it on purpose)! Test your odometer on long drives. Some states have mileage posts or speedometer checks along stretches of highway. Use your GPS. Set to zero on both, drive a ways, compare the odometer with the GPS trip mileage.

So, if your trip odometer says 300 miles since you last filled when you fill up, it really is 312 miles traveled (if off 4%). If you put 18 gallons in, to top the tank, your unadjusted mpg is 16.66. However, when adjusting for the bigger tires, the true MPG is 17.33.

Which tune you running? I recently switched from 2.0 base back to 2.0 beta 19800. I definitely get 1 - 3 mpg better with 19800, and I seem to have better overall power, but I do miss having ECT.

The new 2.0, but modified for THX, 4.88’s, 32’s and different tables set by @Mooseditty17

Keep in mind those numbers were long ago, but the new 2.0 nets the best mpg so far

2018 SR+ 2WD: got slightly more than 23 mpg (10.3 litres per 100 km indicated on the thing, not hand calculated) mixed lead-footed high-speed freeway/mid-speed secondary roads/city driving. Only 7,600 km on the odo or 4,750 miles.

2021 Pro with 1K miles. I usually get 17-18 around town and on the state highway to town. BUT, on a drive to Moab last week, we only got 16.5 or less at freeway speeds of 75-80+ on I-70. Quite a few longish hills.

I’ve used Fuelly to track since I bought my truck in September of ‘16. majority of the mileage is highway, up into the Rockies and back (ski trips). Plenty of road trips to Arizona, California, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. I have a topper, prinsu rack with the light bar cut out (no light bar) which probably doesn’t help.
    about 17-18.

Still averaging over 20mpg on 285s. Dropped from 22-23mpg when I was on 265s.
