How's the protection? I've been meaning to buy knee pads for quite some time. I got them cauliflower-lookin knees

 

It’s decent, but certainly on the lighter end of the protection/armor spectrum. They have a high density foam like material.

They fit the bill for what I was looking for, aside from being the wrong size.

Figure I'd throw it on here before I go to Pinkbike and the local for sale sites. If you want to build a sick xc bike.....I have XX1 shifter and derailleur (selling these together), XT casette, Fox Step Cast 32 (scuff on fork leg, but mostly just the stickers that got scraped up...no damage to it), and then some random bits like the seat post, bars and stem. If someone buys the shifter setup and fork together, I'll throw in the xt cassette, salsa bars, Scott 73mm stem and zipp seatpost 31.6/300mm.
Fwiw, the shifter and derailleur have about 200 miles on them. Used it on my Pivot hardtail for D2R2, a poker ride and a few other random rides. The fork has probably 400 miles on it. It was on my xc race bike that I've since made a dedicated rigid SS.

Letting go of used fat bike Bontrager Jackalope 27.5 x 80mm wheelset. Wheels are in good condition. Rear rim does have a flat spot but is not noticable when riding. 197mm x 12mm Rear thru axle hub, 150mm x 15mm front hub. XD freehub. Terrene Cake Eater Tubless tires - 27.5 x 4.5. tires are in great condition. Cassette and Rotors are not included.

I decided to go with a different tire for the rear so I'm selling this one. This has the GRID Trail casing that is thicker than the XC (Control) and thinner than a DH (BLCK DMND), more of a trail/enduro casing. Paid $60 plus tax a week ago at my LBS. Never mounted or even unrolled.
