oh thanks man, but I already have a very similar pair to those... I'm looking for something that is essentially a platform pedal with SPD, like that may have the screw style pegs on them. If anyone has recommendations for a model to check out, please let me know.

ive used both of these in the past

    https://www.amazon.com/SHIMANO-Shimano-A530-SPD-Pedals/dp/B07C59VPXW

    https://www.rei.com/product/668198/shimano-m324-spd-pedals?CAWELAID=120217890000816877

I wouldn't recomment the m324, the flat side isn't really that good, kinda bulk, and feels a little cheap.

ive have 2 of the A530. the flat part doesn't really grip, but was decent to learn clips on. now my gf uses a pair on her road bike so maybe one day she'll finally clip in

though really id go for a pedal with clips on both sides and a larger platform around it, like the xtr. or a flat with a strap around it if you dont wear clipped shoes

I think is still have some old Forte pedals from Performance Bike. THey have an SPD on one side and a flat pedal on the other side. You can have for whatever it costs to mail them to you. if your interested, i can look through my box of bike stuff to see if I still have them.

I'm looking for something like the Crank Bros, that has the clip on both sides, with a large platform and pegs, that's really just a platform pedal with SPD on both sides. I had an opportunity to by the Azonic Switchback from another user a while ago for half the price, but I lagged on committing, and I'm wishing I had them now...

it's basically what I'm looking for:

Also if anyone is Interested, I have a set of RaceFace cranks. 175mm with a 32T chainring. They take offs from my Trail 429 so they are superboost spacing. They were only one for one ride before I switched them out for XT’s.
    $50 shipped

Yeah they’re pretty solid. I used them on a commuter bike that I rode on gravel roads sometimes as well.
